Flemish education = quality education

The Flemish Community in Belgium is highly recognised for the quality of its education. More than 40% of the Flemish government’s budget is invested in education. All training programmes on offer at the HUB are subsidised and fully recognised by the authorities of the Flemish Community in Belgium. This is clearly reflected in the official higher education register (www.highereducation.be ).

The structure of bachelor and master programmes has been gradually introduced into Flemish colleges and universities from the academic year 2004-2005 onwards. Higher Education in Flanders has a three cycle degree structure, from bachelor to master to PhD. More information can be found on www.studyinflanders.be and on www.highereducation.be.

The HUB offers six kinds of programmes:

• modules: 20 to 30 European credits, open to exchange students only
• professional bachelor programmes
• academic bachelor programmes
• master programmes
• advanced bachelor’s programme
• advanced master’s programme
