International Policy
HUB, as a member of the K.U.Leuven Association, adopts a broad internationalisation policy which aims to increase, integrate and embed the international, intercultural and global dimensions in all its processes.
HUB’s international activities contribute to the following over-all objectives:

develop and valorise the international competence of students and personnel;

develop and deliver modules and programmes for international target groups as well as provide high quality services to international students;

develop and maintain sustainable international relationships in training, research and public service;
-
promote HUB’s international character and ambition.
Specific objectives in the framework of Europe’s Lifelong Learning Programme (2007-2013) include:

maximising the internationalisation@home experience, e.g. by organising activities or courses with a specific international dimension;

maximising mobility opportunities, e.g. by expanding partnerships beyond Europe or by providing opportunities for a short(er)-term study abroad
-
enhancing (foreign) language learning;
-
strengthening cooperation with enterprises, e.g. by improving the offer of work placements for students and staff.
