Tourism & Sightseeing
If you leave the Central Station and walk to the Grand Place/Grote Markt, you will experience history. Nowadays, Brussels is a modern, multicultural city and it offers many activities to residing students. Thanks to its cinemas, theatres, museums and art galleries, Brussels is never likely to be tiresome, on the contrary. A visit to the cartoon museum or a comic strip tour through Brussels passing the wardrobe of Manneken Pis are only a few examples of what Brussels has to offer. The official Brussels International Tourist Office is located in the Town Hall. It also has reception offices at the South Station and at Brussels National Airport.
Do something unique: visit one of Brussels' markets (see Shops, Services & Markets).
