Foreign students who want to work in Belgium but who do not belong to one of the Member State of the European Economic Area can be employed in Belgium if they have a work permit (C). Students need to be enrolled for a full time study programme and need to have a valid residence permit for Belgium prior to application of a work permit. During school holidays a work permit is not required. Work permit applications have to be submitted to the regional employment office. Which office depends on the place where you live (Brussels/Flanders/Wallonia).
