This is your checklist

Book your flight/train in advance
- Make sure you have an insurance
- Make sure you have accommodation for the first few days. And try to find long-term accommodation if you don’t have it yet.
- Keep coordinates of your coordinator, your campus, your (temporary) accommodation together with your official documents at hand when travelling (i.e. in your hand luggage), i.e. admission letter (not required for exchange students), international passport, visa, health insurance, etc.
- Make sure you have sufficient funds in cash to cover the expenses of the first few days (local currency used: euro)
- Avoid over- and under-packing
For registration on your campus report immediately to the:
- Exchange students go to the International Office
- International degree students – bring your admission letter! and go to the Student Administrative Services Centre
Register in the ‘register for foreign residents’ at the commune of the town where you found your long-term accommodation – do it asap, preferably within one week upon arrival.
