The Belgian Development Cooperation provides general information on the types of grant available for nationals from developing countries wishing to study or undertake training in Belgium. It also describes grants for studies in developing countries (local grants).
European Commission
PLOTEUS (Portal on Learning Opportunities throughout the European Space) aims to help students, job seekers, workers, parents, guidance counsellors and teachers to find out information about studying in Europe. You will find information about the Erasmus programme and other mobility scholarships for university and university college students who have already completed one year of their studies. The grants system makes it possible to attend classes at a partner institution in another country. Some 29 countries, including 15 in Europe, are involved in this programme.
The European Commission offers new financial opportunities to European students at masters level to participate in Erasmus Mundus Joint Masters Courses.

Fulbright Foreign Student Program
The Fulbright Foreign Student Program brings citizens of other countries to the United States for Master’s degree or Ph.D. study at U.S. universities or other appropriate institutions. Foreign students apply for Fulbright Fellowships through the Fulbright Commission/Foundation or U.S. Embassy in their home countries.
Belgian American Educational Foundation
The Belgian American Educational Foundation supports the exchange of university students, scientists and scholars between the United States and Belgium.
United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO)
UNESCO provides fellowships through its UNESCO Fellowship Bank Scheme. It requires that all applications be channeled through the National Commission for UNESCO of a candidate's country. UNESCO cannot consider direct, individual requests for funding.

IEFA is a resource for financial aid, college scholarship and grant information for US and international students wishing to study abroad. It has a comprehensive listing of grants, scholarships, loan programs, and other information.
Ford Foundation
