Centre for Economics & Management (CEM)

The CEM unites researchers who are active in diverse (business) economic disciplines (general economics, international economics, finance, accountancy, and marketing). In 2007 these disciplines were represented in four research groups:

  • Marketing Research Group
  • Business Economics Research Group
  • Finance and Risk Research Group
  • Economics and Policy Centre

Although their research relates to different fields, the centre group members share the ambition to cover the wide spectrum of research activities – ranging from practice-based, short-term, locally embedded research projects to international (fundamental) scientific publications and projects. They collaborate regularly and closely with external HUBrussel partners making use of the available ‘associated researcher’ regulations; the Onderzoekszwaartepunten (Main Research Focuses); and/or with other partners from outside the Associatie KULeuven.
