Centre for Entrepreneurship (SVO)

The Centre for Entrepreneurship (SVO), HUBrussel is the intellectual continuation of the KMO-studiecentrum (SME Study Centre) established by Prof dr Rik Donckels at the KU Brussel in 1983. Consequently, the Study Centre can pride itself on 25 years of scientific experience in domestic and foreign entrepreneurship, resulting in more than 300 publications (articles in journals and newspapers as well as in magazines, books, research reports, and papers).

The mission statement of the Centre for Entrepreneurship, HUBrussel envisions: “To carry out scientific policy-centred and independent research into entrepreneurship focussing on family-owned companies”.
